Chereponi, North East Region The Chereponi District has recorded a major achievement in sports development, with 30 athletes, comprising both boys and girls, selected to represent the North East Region at the upcoming Inter-Regional Sports Competition in Accra. The athletes were selected following their outstanding performances at the recently concluded Inter-District Sports Competition , where they competed in various sporting disciplines. Their impressive performances caught the attention of coaches and selectors, earning them places in the North East Regional Sports Team. The selection is being described as a major boost for sports development in Chereponi, particularly as it provides young athletes with the opportunity to compete at a higher level and showcase their talents on a bigger stage.
